most of the western countries have vacations or short working hours or even set their clock according to the seasons and weather, like in european countires they set back the clock by one hour in the winter season. why can not we in india follow something like this – say having holidays / half days working during the tiring heat of summer instead of people falling sick and taking compulsary sick leaves. as it is most of us could not afford airconditioners and when working we work in a very uncomfortable atmosphere. could someone take this further to the policy makers.

When you first start the car the air conditioner blows cold air when the A/C is on. After about 10 minutes of driving the air conditioner starts blowing hot air. It is a 97 Camaro Z28 LT1. The temp of the engine gets hotter than usual. But, The engine doesn’t overheat.

My air conditioner is not cooling my home like it is supposed to, only the fan is blowing outside. If there is anyone out there who has knowledge about this(preferably 7 years and up) and can give me some no cost tips that would be great!!
About a week ago my airconditioner in my 2002 GMC envoy started making a humming/vibrating sound. It would get louder if I turned up the fan speed. Yesterday the blower stopped all together. If I keep the AC on I can feel cold air coming into the car, but there is no blower on.
Any one can give me some tips on how to diagnose it and fix it? Fan is working fine at various speeds but air is same as outside temperature. Car has been in parking garage for extended period of time in last year. Car had 72K miles and in excellent running condition.
Power is on again but my air conditioner is not working. Is the power outage the reason? How can I get it started again. It is 90 in here!!!
The transformer went out on my central air conditioner, so my brother-in-law replaced it yesterday. It worked like a charm until sometime today ( I was at work when it stopped working). What would make this happen? Thank you sooo much for any and all help!
