How can I conserve energy if my Airconditioner is in Thermostat form, meaning, it doesn’t indicate the temperature?
I have watched the news and they said that when airconditoners are in 23 degrees, we can conserve energy.
about my airconditioner’s case, it’s in thermostat form, ranging 1-10

i have an older style window air conditioner that just has a dial. it’s hard to get it set at a temp i want. can i get a thermostat that i can hook up to it to turn it off and on?
My air conditioner was working just fine this morning. I even it heard it click off this morning, but when I went by it to go to the pool, it was completely blank. I threw all the switches and even the main air conditioner breaker outside. Nothing. Any help please. Could the wiring be bad or is this just a thermostat? Under warranty thank goodness, but could wiring be under this too?
What are the benefits and disadvantages of having dual thermostat air conditioners….are they cost efficient?

The one that controls the heat and airconditioner.
I have an older air conditioning unit on my wall that goes directly outside (similar to a window mounted one). It plugs into the wall below. Is there a way to inexpensively add a thermostat to it? I was thinking there may be a thermostat that could stop the power supply to the air conditioner when it reached the ideal temperature..?? Any ideas?
Our heating / airconditioner quit working. they said to make sure the thermostat was getting power. I know how to check a fuse but how do you check a breaker? If it turns out to be a bad breaker how do you change or fix it?
