Scrapping of 2 old Bristol type G 6 Cyl Radial refrigerant compressors with failure mode analysis. Compressor no.1 – Total destruction of con-rods, possibly due to lubrication failure. Compressor no.2 – Motor burnout, seized main crankshaft bearing to blame. Texas Instruments overload protectors, did not work!.

some goof dumped air conditioners in a park.

that equals lots of beer money.

Any ideas on what to do with them? the remaining 2/3 of the lot is being scrapped either because they are used or too badly damaged.
