Room Air Conditioners…

I DESPERATELY need an air conditioner for my basement. But I don’t have any windows in my basement. Is there an air conditioner that doesn’t need a window? I can’t afford to spend a lot, either.

my room have no window and it’s hot…is there any air conditioner that need no window?

I’ve just opened a hair salon and realize the airconditioner that’s up doesnt cool the entire space. I have 1400 sq ft of space and need help on deciding on what size airconditioner would work to cool the entire salon. thanks in advance.

I just got a portable air conditioner. It requires 115v 15a. I have it plugged into the outlet in my room. The plug says on it that i need a circuit breaker or timed fuse. My house has circuit breakers, im wondering if this is all it requires. The lights dimmed a little when the compressor turned on, but the same happens when i turn on my vacum cleaner. I just want to make sure that im not going to die in a horrible fire.

It’s been really hot lately and my air conditioner works but the air isn’t cold enough to lower the temperature in my house so I’m wondering if I need to replace something. We haven’t changed anything in our airconditioning for 12 years so I’m wondering if its about that time..

I know that asthma can be one but after reading my apartment contract (which prohibits air conditioners except for medical needs), I was just curious as to what other ailments require this.

I have a long wooden fence in my back yard and an air conditioner compressor on the side of my house. I would like to put some kind of plants or something to hide the air conditioner compressor. I would also like some kind of hedge that has blooms with a lot of color and won’t grow to tall to hid the long fence.They have to be plants that can handel southern temperatures and that are simple to maintain.

I a portable AC a few years ago, it was the one where you put the hose in the window. But after a few summers it stopped working properly. So I was wondering is there a way that you can use the kind that comes with the hose, but not use the hose? I want the same effect as I would with the hose, but I can’t use the bracket and screws to hold the window down on my window.
