The carrier is from the early, early early, 1990’s or even the 1980’s and the bryant is from the Early 2000’s. The electricity was cut at that time so the units were not running. I will promise I will get a video of the Bryant running because I have never seen the carrier running. As you may see on one of my videos “Nice Cool Morning near the lake” the running air conditioner that is Zoomed in is the Bryant but I will upload a video of the Bryant running in that same look.
I don’t really think it is going to be replaced so I will probably give it a full overhull. Can somebody tell me if I can install a normal central air conditioner thermostat in this window unit and controls both fan and compressor including the temperature?
Scrapping of 2 old Bristol type G 6 Cyl Radial refrigerant compressors with failure mode analysis. Compressor no.1 – Total destruction of con-rods, possibly due to lubrication failure. Compressor no.2 – Motor burnout, seized main crankshaft bearing to blame. Texas Instruments overload protectors, did not work!.
