What saves more gas? Having the windows down and not having to use the airconditioner, or using the air and keeping windows up to save aerodynamics?

My boyfriend says “turn the air conditioner down” when he wants the temperature decreased, but I say “turn the air conditioner up” when I want the temperature lowered. What do you think is the correct term?

Ouch.. Air does not work.. no swamp cooler.. air conditioners in all rooms however they are only circulating the hot air in the house!

I have a narrow up and down style window “17″ max opening and need and air conditioner. I am forced to use a casement air conditioner because a normal style ac isn’t narrow enough. How can I properly install this???

My 1.5 ton A.C. dies down after 30-40 seconds on starting. The problem is low voltage in my area during day time. Also
I am using 30 amp electric meter. could this be the culprit.
The airconditioner needs more power which is not available to it .
Any device that could draw more power from the power line or
will using 10:60 amp meter solve the problem.
