hi, about a month ago i installed a window air conditioner, but i haven’t seen any water dripping out of it…it that okay? because i’ve noticed other people’s AC dripping water…so this got me thinking if whether there is anything wrong with my AC?
so is it normal for a window air conditioner to leak water out or not???

there are two thin wires ( red and black) inside a thick cover. both were slit into 2 by accident. and i really need to know how to repair it!! any valuable suggestions appreciated….
Like why do some window units have an actual drain for the water and some of them don’t. Does one last longer than the other?
I turn on the air conditioner and only hot to room temperature air comes out for 5-10 minutes. Eventually, 9 times out of 10 cold air will eventually come out. Don’t know much about cars, I got a toyota because they are supposed to be (mostly) maintenance free. Thanks!
