Room Air Conditioners…

That thing about to drive me crazy!

I want to know what part of a refridgerator or air conditioner is making stuff cold, like if you take it out, it won’t make cold any more. Is it a compressor? If you take that part out and you put a magnetron in it, it must make warm. What is that part??? HELP, PLZ!!

the refrigerant (gas) has leaked out of your AC… get it filled… it will be OK…

It may be strange or even new to you people. But this is not the first time.
Whenever we sleep in the Split air-conditioner fixed bedroom with the temperature 26, we get COMMON COLD including running nose. But i tried keeping the temperature 28 or 29 and I noticed we are normal.
So what is happening when i keep the temperature to 26?
Is it only my family having this problem or even some of you have faced it before?
Ok let me give you the details of the AC. Its 1.5 ton split air-conditioner. And if you are going to say that the AC is not clean and if thats the reason we are getting affected, then you are wrong. Becas we clean our AC every 1 month.
What else could be the problem?

i’ve been sleeping with the airconditioner on and i’ll wake up with my neck stiff and sore. is this the cause;; or is this because of allergies;; which i dont really get?? I’ve also been sleeping on the couch while the A/C has been on (another cause??)

My outside air conditioner, which is under warranty, was not blowing cold air. When a serviceman came to fix it, he said an earwig was caught in the air conditioner. I was charged $160 for this service. I find it hard to believe that an earwig can cause this to happen. I believe there was something else wrong with it and should have been covered under the warranty.

The air conditioner was cooling but it wasn’t getting cold. So, I bought an after-market air conditioner charging kit. Immediately after I charged it, the air was extremely cold. The next day, however, the air would not get cold. It was fluctuating from cool to warm and then back cool again. Any ideas why or how to fix it? I would rather not have to take it to an auto shop.

In my room i use and airconditioner. It is a bit cold and gets things like glass a bit wet. Will my ps3 get too moist and get damaged?

My air conditioner turns on, the compressor is blowing air and working, but there is no cold air inside the house, the temperature remains at 80 degrees. I changed the battery of the thermostat but it still not working? What could be the problem?
