I Just Bought An Amana Bedroom Airconditioner.it’s A Few Weeks Old.it Makes Alot Of Noise.it Sounds Like A Bug?

zapper.When I turned it off-the button glowed.I opened it up the grid and cooling coils are in front-aren’t they supposed to be in back?It looks like it’s holding water.I’m thinking of taking it back-what airconditioners do you suggest? Also,my main unit has a funny smell-sour-coming from it-only outside-you smell it.Is it standing water?Do I have to get someone to clean it?
