I have this irrational fear of sorts, when it comes to bugs. I just installed a new medium sized air conditioner in my room. A few days later I found several bugs in my room, and checked the air conditioner and found space underneath it, which I closed off. My question is, is it possible for bugs to go into the air conditioner from the outside, then exit the air conditioner into your room? Or is there some sort of filter inside that would block them? I just want to be sure that it was only the hole underneath that they were getting through.
I had asked my husband over a month ago to take the window unit out of our bedroom. We have changed things around and now the boys have that room It is cold up there and it is because the window unit is letting cold air in. I went up there to take it out by myself ( because he is not here tonight) and It fell out the window it is dented. will it still work or is it toast?

I have an car that doesnt have airconditioner and I was wondering if there is and portable airconditioner to take in it. Also I have this bike caddie for my daughter and I wanted to see there is a portable ac to keep her cool while we ride the bicycle in the park.
I have a 1997 chevy cavalier that needs work. It needs a new heater core and airconditioner. It has 144,000 miles on it and minor rust. It has some chips in the paint. It also has a stereo with good speakers. Sun-roof. The seats are in fair to good condition. There is also a crack in the dash by the speedometer and one under the stereo. What should I ask for a car like this.
I have 30 year old central air conditioning unit. I want to or I will have to replace it pretty soon.

Now I’m thinking about heat pump unit instead air conditioner. I read the article about heat pump and I felt it is just good for me.
Since I have never used it, I need the opinion from the other people who actually used it.
I live in southern california and the temperature in my area never or seldom drop below 40.
Heat pump is good choice? I need your advice.

Firealarms would go off and when we said stop Weston it would stop. Weston is the name that kept appearing on my sons bedroom door. After i cleaned it off several times and it kept coming back i just left it.(It was writen in white) A man broke into my app. and the smokealarm went off just before he reached the room my chidren were in. I think Weston warned me.The mirror on my daughters dresser was completly fogged over in the summer. (my airconditioner was in need of repiar) Weston also talked/played with my 2 oldest kids. In conclusion I don’t live there now but maybe he needs help. Heis a nice ghost I strongly beleive that. Weston’s always been on my mind I just want to find out what happened to him. Can anyonehelp me to find out?
I have relatives in San Jose, who tell me about some crippling heat the last few days.
What are your experiences with this? Is it that bad? Do you fear blackouts or brownouts ensuing from the airconditioners all running? How safe is outside really?
