They bring about infections such as Legionaires disease.
They reduce the death rate in hot weather.
They are noisy.
They look bad.
They promote comfort.
They drip water (sometimes).

First pro- nice cool air. Who doesn’t want that on a hot summer day? Con – in a car air conditioner, if you’re just driving around town, running your air conditioner will use more gas. For an In-home air conditioner, depending if you have a swamp cooler, or a ‘central air’ system, water bills or electric bills can be a bit higher in the summer. Again, that depends on the system you have, and the insulation in your home. However, once again, I like having a cool house in the heat of the summer.

Cons-Lose alot of money by the end of summer!
