Its gonna be 100 F in the next few days , would my cat overheat and die at home since no fans will be on since I won’t be there?

first of all y did you left your cat there
but if you have put all her food and the litter box she would be ok
also it depends on how much heat would be there in your house
if some one could check your cat daily it would be better
also to keep her cool only water can help her.
so when next time u got out leaving your cat for 2-3 days do check the things as cool water and more…………

Depending on how hot it can get in your house… maybe. Cats are pretty resiliant, but if someone can check on your cat, I’d definitely send them over immediately. His water needs to be monitored, as that’s the only thing that will cool him down. Cats are like people – we can all suffer heat exhaustion, dehydration, and death. I hope you take better care of him upon your return, or find him a more suitable home.

Ok, I would HOPE that you would NOT do this!! Cats are Hearty Pets BUT this is just putting the poor animal in HARMS WAY!! Now I have left my cats at home for several days BUT I have alway’s left all of my Ceiling fans on & have made sure that there is a friend that comes by at least every other day to check on them to make sure they have fresh water & give them more food if needed!! Give someone you know a KEY to your place & have them check on the cat say every other day!!! They need fresh water at LEAST that often!!

The heat would be too extreme for the cat. I would recommend getting someone to take care of it while your gone, or call a veterinarian and get boarding information! I wouldn’t leave a random fan on because what if it catches your house on fire! You have to be careful with things like that.

If you left your cat for 3 days hopefully with food and a litter box. Did you have someone to check on it?

You need to board your cat for these 3 days. It could die of heat stroke.
