Can I Save More Energy If I Use My Airconditioner (aircon) In Low Temperature / Thermostat?

Hello Violet:
The lower you set the thermostat, the longer the unit will run. If you are concerned about saving energy, run the A/C only when you are in the room. Pull the blinds on the windows that face the sun. If your area gets cool at night, open windows to allow the cool air to circulate through the room. Close the windows/blinds in the morning prior to going to work, or before 9am. clean the filter and check the indoor and outdoor coils and clean when they get dirty.
Use the A/C on ‘fan’ to keep the air moving, even when the cooling feature is not running.
