I have to use a window air conditioner since I live in a 450 square foot studio apartment. The noise of the condenser clicking on and off wakes me up constantly during the night. What can I do? One thought was to buy a new undersized unit and remove the thermostat. Would this work? Any suggestions for a model that would help? Thanks.
I live in an apartment building which offers free natural gas. I would like to find a room air conditioner that uses natural gas. Does anyone know if this product exists? Ideally, I would like something the size of a small refriderator (think college dorm size), does not need an exhaust and can generate up to 20,000 BTUs.
