My Airconditioner Won’t Turn On…any Idea What I Should Based From The Description.?

I have a samsung airconditioner. Yesterday I changed the batteries of my remote control, I dont know if the remote somehow got reset because of this, but when i was testing it out and pressed the power button. my airconditioner went off but now sinds than it has 6 blinking lights, 5 red and the one all the way on the left is a green light. and it wont turn on. the remote seems like its working, but whatever i press the airco just makes a sound but nothing happens, asif it needs to be re-set or as if it is in sleep mode or something. I dont know much about the airconditioner but these are the following details I got off it:
IAST30C4BE/HAN
M/C-A5YB
S/N: PI9T000006X
Any idea what the problem is, and how I can fix it please…

I mean, if I use 1 HP (horse power) air conditioner, say for 8 hours per day, howmany KWh will be read at the end of a month? Can it be calculate?
Window Air Conditioner Never Shuts Off?

I have a newer Kenmore 8000 btu window air conditioner and lately, no matter where I set the temp at the compressor keeps cycling , blowing cold air and never shuts off. After a while it gets so cold in the room you could hang slabs of beef. I can set it at 80 and keeps running. Any ideas?
